The Childrens Album category shows healthy, inspired, yet serious professional excellence in both creativity, and quality of production results. The Pop Instrumental category features the remarkably fluid violin works of Jenny Oaks Baker who reminds us to Wish Upon A Star, while Dave Koz adds his exquisite saxaphone artistry to the nominations set in this category. The 54th GRAMMY® Awards celebration shows that identifying the artistic talent and skill are easy to accomplish; choosing among the nominations is a real challenge. Jazz lives! This category is a genuine delight for aficionados of the genre. The stalwarts capturing our attention include: the always magnificent and spectacular Chick Corea, the wonderfully warm sound of Randy Brecker, the masterful Ron Carter, the delightful Fred Hersch, and the always excellent Sonny Rollins.
