Gregg Kallor is an ecclectic classical pianist who descibes himself as "a music minded straphanger"; a term that will endear him to any among us with a "New York state of mind". One of his recent interesting pieces is entitled ESPRESSO NIRVANA; a "curiously delightful" ode to the vast amounts of caffeine that may be consumed in an attempt to fuel the tempo of day to day urban life. Espresso Nirvana is featured on Gregg's new solo album entitled "A Single Noon". "This is 21st-century music that has clearly absorbed the past and looks to a bright and borderless musical future", said Fred Hersch recently about Gregg's artful piano inspiration.
