57th GRAMMY AWARDS; Reflections

57th GRAMMY AWARDS; Reflections. The Recording Academy's GRAMMY AWARDS Celebration event is, perhaps, like a diamond; its sparkle and coruscating luminescence is clear and undeniable, while most of its facets are always out of immediate view. I have been present at some GRAMMY Celebrations; no two are alike. While many eyes are adjusting to the glimmer that is 'The GRAMMYs', I was reminded that performing artists were presenting their talents at various diverse venues; like concert halls, clubs, restaurants, and supper clubs. The crown jewel of Music's Biggest Night, the GRAMMYs, is one facet of the music creativity presentation gem. This year, the "Winds Of Samsara" ushered in success, inspiring creativity, far reaching pride in accomplishment, and clear evidence of support by established and newly formed friendships. Supporters of Ricky Key and Wouter Kellerman, along with outstanding project manager Tholsi Pillay, travelled from places as far away as Singapore, India, London, South Africa, various European countries and numerous states within the USA, to meet for the first time, renew friendships, and celebrate the phenomenon that is 'The GRAMMYs". A few noteworthy facets of the 2015 GRAMMY Celebration diamond included the star studded "Winds Of Samsara" mixer hosted by Ricky Kej and Wouter Kellerman. Some have already declared it to be the 'best' party in Los Angeles leading up to the 57th GRAMMY AWARDS SHOW. Then there is the dynamic Al Walser, who organized and orchestrated the First SOIREE Music Show and Performance Showcase presented at the House Of Blues; to SRO attendee capacity. Al supplemented the evening's activity with a Red Carpet photo opportunity for all artists in attendance. This exciting and historical event was recorded by the excellent craftsman Jeff Knight, of Jeff Knight Photography, whose attention, care, and concern resulted in a collection of magnificent pictorial stills featuring professional artists as appreciative subjects. In addition, enthusiastic velvet voiced crooner Caesar Jazz Balladeer, an ebullient presence at many venues, presented a number of concert performances which featured various friends on the program. Of course, not everyone who wanted to go to the GRAMMYs were at the televised showcase; the second of the normal two GRAMMY shows that are presented every year. Remarkably, many artists/fans/visitors were in attendance as first timers; an accomplishment that speaks to the organizational achievement of the appropriate department at The Recording Academy. Still, everyone who made the journey to Los Angeles was involved and included in some aspect of Music's Biggest Night. The City of Los Angeles arranged its 'Dark Nights' Arts Festival all around town. Included were performances by many GRAMMY Artists; and featuring TRIO ELLAS. No one made it to all the mixers, the breakfasts, the lunches, the dinners, the cocktail chats, the photo shoots, the strolls around town, the concerts, or the two GRAMMY Showcase presentations; but everyone got a good taste of the GRAMMY phenomenon, and a good amount of light from the sparkling GRAMMY jewel. Some even received the surprise of a GRAMMY AWARD trophy. With the 2015 GRAMMY experience still being fresh in the mind, many music creators have already mentioned that their first stop after gracing the various airport terminals on the way home (for those not living in Los Angeles), will be to their studios to complete the new projects that were placed on "pause" so that they could attend the 2015 GRAMMY AWARDS CELEBRATION. Music's Biggest Night 2016 is not too far ahead. What it has in store for our pleasure, entertainment, and delight, only the music creators can say for sure. Judging from the masterpieces that were made available to fans of all genres this year, music fans should start preparing now for "ultra magnificence in music creativity". Music performing artists have moved their production plans into overdrive; they are not planning on holding back on any of the groove.
