MONTY GUY Friends In Motion Lucy Kalantari

Lucy's new CD for the 57th GRAMMY AWARDS celebration is called "Pockets Full Of Joy". This collection of 'feel good' songs reminded this fan that listening to good music is a wonderful experience of fun, fulfillment, and delight. Lucy has a great singing voice; with a fluid and enchanting vocal presentation. The six songs in this collection are all uptempo and pleasing. I didn't mind dancing by myself as I listened...twice! The production is described as "ukelele ditties with a 1920's flair...about the wonders of love, being a Mom, and babies". Well, we can't exclude big brothers and Dads; many of whom have danced around the home with babies in their arms. The love and joy in Lucy's work are clear to me. The instrumentation was uplifting, joyful, and brings a "warm smile to your face". Included with the ukelele are the upright bass, drums, and clarinet. The song titles include: "Pockets Full Of Joy, The Only Thing, Way With Me, Betta', Wait and See, A Fresh Start". Lucy Kalantari's CD entitled "Pockets Full Of Joy" is a wonderful listening experience. Her voice is warm, pleasant, and engaging. One of her objectives is to create "lightness in your heart". During the listen, I got some of that, was reminded "about the wonders of Love", experienced a few 'happy feet' moments, and...oh yeah, that big brother dancing around the room with the baby in his arms thing...that all parents know about. Yes, today looks "Betta'" after listening to "Pockets Full Of Joy" by Lucy Kalantari.
