Friends In Motion TRIO ELLAS

Fortunately, some very kind folks just reminded me that they admire my generosity of Spirit. Well, I couldn't let them down; because I've been keeping TRIO ELLAS to myself for over two weeks. I have lost count of how many times I have listened to their new CD entitled "Noches Angelinas". I have remained clear minded and cognizant of the pleasure engendered by their performance. With one violin, one guitar, one guitarron, and a trio of mellifluous voices, the Ladies of TRIO ELLAS have had me captivated in esctasy. The recorded performance began with "Dilo Otra Vez"; a wonderful and big sounding song. "La Bruja" made me think of a conquistador in Paris. Then I was ensnared with "Contigo Aprendi"...did I mention the beautifully blended voices of this trio? Presenting popular tunes, I think, represents challenging creative waters. TRIO ELLAS delivered "Emociones", the well regarded Bee Gees song. I ask for forgiveness because I can listen to TRIO ELLAS singing and performing "Emociones" all day. Then the Ladies go uptempo with a showtune type song called "Dig For The Gold In Your Soul". If someone in the room should mention "reminds me of the Andrews Sisters harmony", don't be surprised. However, an absolutely fabulous tune, a ballad, is "De Repente"...my favorite..by far...absolutely lovely. The CD has a total of nine tracks; with an English version reprise of "Dilo Otra Vez" called "Say It Again". However, I choose to finish this review on, and replay "De Repente", and ask to be forgiven for trying to keep TRIO ELLAS to myself for so long.Still, I am delighted to be able to share my appreciation of the talent and lovely voices of TRIO ELLAS, and their marvelous new CD entitled "Noches Angelinas".
