Artist's Project perspectives..."Stardust is a space-themed album which was recorded with the Roermond Symphonic Orchestra, and the award-winning mixed Vocal Ensemble “Canto Rinato”. I was also joined by a number of professional musicians, all of whom are connected to the Dutch National Symphonic Orchestra and to André Rieu’s renowned Johan Strauss Orchestra. New age music legend Terry Oldfield added his musical contribution to the track called Beyond. A total of 60 musicians have participated in this elaborate project which was lead by executive producer Arno Op den Camp. Multi-GRAMMY® Award winning producer, Kabir Sehgal, takes credit for the album liner notes.
The overall message of this album is to make people aware about the wonders of our planet and the mysteries of the universe. With Stardust I try to highlight our fragility as human beings living collectively on this globe and how important it is to treat our planet with respect. Earth is part of something much bigger than what we as humans can possibly fathom. Stardust has been holding the #1 position in the ZMR (ZoneMusicReporter) International Top 100 Radio Airplay Chart for two months in a row (June & July). Since its release, it has received many accolades from the international press".
