Grant Maloy Smith celebrates success of new CD release.
Grant Maloy Smith is a double barrel artistic success. He is currently riding the crest of a three chart Billboard magazine listing for his new release entitled "Dust Bowl; American Stories". In addition, he presents a captivating solo concert which features a clear, enthralling, and sincere voice which tells poignant stories of the landscape of American history. His earnest vocal presentation is noteworthy. Some members of his listening audience will be moved by his sensitive treatment of the many challenges faced and conquered by Native Americans, pioneering Farmers, and enterprising citizens who courageously negotiated a compromise with the unrelenting American frontier.
During his recent Maryland/Washington, DC/ Virginia area CD release tour, Grant shared the challenges, opportunities, and excitement of creating "Dust Bowl..."; a project three years in the making. The thirteen tracks album project includes the enthusiastic expertise of numerous outstanding musicians in studio facilities located in Nashville, New York, Rhode Island, and Massachusetts. Grant also sang selections from the collection; accompanied by his own guitar artistry.
