Rough Jazz; The Action Guys with the Aaron Aranita Big Band. This CD is everything but rough. For all around listening pleasure, this CD is right up my street. You like Big Band Orchestrated Swing, featuring experienced and outstanding musical technicians who know how to enjoy their craft? Then this CD is for you! The collection is varied; the common denominator being excellent instrumental application spotlighted by scintillatingly sublime arrangements. The vocal contribution is marvellous. Only half way through the sixteen tracks collection, and this ensemble continues to amaze, excite, and delight. Oh, oh...the surprise of a swinging violin in a big band setting! This album is fun! So far, noteworthy tracks include Home Cooking, Kung Food Fight, Beboparoni, with Sweet Leilani currently inducing listening pleasure.
