First round voting in 56th GRAMMY Celebration ends; Indies Shine as Unsung Heroes of Social Change

Thus far, the 56th GRAMMY AWARDS CELEBRATION has been exploding with creativity and excitement. A most fascinating feature has been the depth and breadth of participation by independent music creators (Indies). Their superb productions are to be found in all categories and genres; including Classical Composition, World Music, Reggae, Dance Music, New Age, Visual Media, Rock, Pop, Childrens Music, Latin; a veritable cornucopia of original sound. The works of Independent artists are being featured in the Album Of The Year, Record Of The Year, Song Of The Year, and Best New Artist categories; to name a few. Of noteworthy significance, are the unheralded contributions to community enhancement and social well being which are being continually spearheaded by today's Independent music creators. They have become, quite simply, the Unsung Heroes of elevated Social change. Their contributions, both personal and financial are being quietly and modestly made in all avenues of Life and community activity. In fact, it seems fair for we consumers of music to remember that we are in partnership with all recording artists; for when we enjoy their Art, purchase their musical creations, and attend their concerts, we are also participating in supporting and funding many economic and social initiatives which benefit our communities. The first round of voting for the 56th GRAMMY AWARDS CELEBRATION ends on October 30, 2013, when the votes are tabulated. It is clear to this author that the GRAMMY Artists of today are winners, and we all have good reason to celebrate our "Songs In The Key Of Life".
